Border Police: Increased flow of travellers leaving the country
The National Inspectorate of the Border Police announces that in the last 24 hours, the border of the Republic of Moldova was crossed by 49,501 people, most of whom 25,678 were registered when leaving the country. The border inspectors also announce that 5,354 Ukrainian citizens entered the Republic of Moldova.
According to the Border Police, all border crossing points are operating normally.
"We suggest travellers, before setting off, to consult the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717) or to check online the situation at the crossing points", according to the border inspectors.
The most requested border is the one with Romania, with 31,012 crossings registered at the crossing points.
At the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, 10,524 crossings and another 7,965 air border crossings were reported.
With reference to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 11,081 crossings were recorded, of which 5,364 - in the direction of entry into Moldova. At the same time, the number of 1,709 constituted the crossings of Ukrainian minors.
