Dorin Recean, meeting with the Hungarian diaspora: "Citizens are interested in what is happening at home and know the challenges"

The efforts of the authorities in Chisinau to strengthen our country's ties with the European Union, but also the importance of the contribution of each citizen towards joining the EU, were among the topics discussed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vladimir Bolea, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Andrian Efros, with diaspora from Hungary.

"I am confident that our people, wherever they are, are interested in what is happening at home and know the challenges we face. This is why one of the Government's priorities is building a dialogue as productive as possible with the diaspora and its involvement in the transformation of our country", said Dorin Recean.

During the meeting, those present also discussed the actions of the Executive regarding the implementation of policies that would cause the diaspora to return home. The ways in which the Government can provide support to citizens in the diaspora were also analyzed.

We remind you that the Moldovan Prime Minister is on a working visit to Budapest, at the invitation of his Hungarian counterpart, Viktor Orbán. The official had a meeting with the president of Hungary, Katalin Novák. Also, the Moldovan Prime Minister will discuss with the representatives of several Hungarian companies about the investment potential that our country offers.

The delegation of the Republic of Moldova also includes the Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros.
