A 58-year-old man is documented by customs officials after he was trying to illegally introduce 17 drones worth over 65,000 dollars, undeclared, into the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The case was registered at Chisinau International Airport.

According to the Customs Service, law enforcement officers checked the luggage of passengers on the route "Vienna - Chisinau.

Thus, following the checks, 17 drones were found in the man's suitcase (including drones with thermal imaging), supposed to be from the category of goods subject to strategic control.

The goods were seized and the case is being examined by customs officials.

According to the agenda approved by the Standing Bureau, the Parliament is to ratify an agreement that provides for Canada to offer a loan to the Republic of Moldova in the amount of 120 million Canadian dollars, the equivalent of over one and a half billion lei. The money will be used to strengthen the resilience of households, including refugees, but also to support climate resilience and the transition to green energy. On the agenda is also a project to adjust the national regulatory framework with the provisions of the European Union legislation regarding contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services. At today's meeting, the appointment of some members of the Superior Council of Magistracy is also planned. These are Sergiu Băieșu and Tatiana Tabuncic.
