A delegation of APCE is on a documentary visit to the Republic of Moldova

Between February 4-7, a delegation of the Monitoring Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be in the Republic of Moldova, on a documentary visit. The political situation, electoral and judicial reform, parliamentary control and the fight against corruption will be the areas that will be monitored.

Also, representatives of the APCE commission will have meetings with the president of the country, Maia Sandu, the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. Also, the agenda of the visit includes discussions with deputies, ministers, CSM, CSJ but also the leadership of the General Prosecutor's Office.

The co-reporters will also go to Comrat, where they will talk with the president of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia, Dmitri Constantinov, and with the representatives of the factions within the People's Assembly of Gagauzia and with local civil society organizations.
