Special Forces Police Conduct Drills in Central Moldova

The Fulger Special Forces Brigade will be involved in tactical exercises with armoured vehicles today, February 9, in central Moldova.

The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) confirmed the drills, stating they are part of their "regular training schedule to enhance the intervention skills of the masked unit."

The IGP emphasised maintaining public calm and advised citizens to "seek information only from official sources to avoid spreading misinformation." They did not specify the exact location or duration of the exercises.

Disinformation supported by the Kremlin, illegal financing and alleged vote-buying represent serious threats to the free and fair conduct of elections in the Republic of Moldova, reads a press release from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). The finding was made after a delegation of APCE visited our country between September 17 and 18 and had meetings with several officials from Chisinau, as well as with representatives of the Central Electoral Commission.
