This year, the Christmas Fair will be set up in the Grand National Assembly Square
The capital will be dressed in festive attire. The mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, announced on a social network that, in the following days, the Christmas tree will be set up in the city center.
According to the mayor of Chisinau, this year the "Christmas Town" will be moved to the Great National Assembly Square, due to the fact that the Cathedral Square is under repair.
The schedule of the winter holidays has not yet been made public.
Ceban also mentioned that electric generators will be donated for the organization of the winter holidays.
