Association of Investors from Romania in the Republic of Moldova marks five years since its foundation

Five years after its foundation, the Association of Investors from Romania in the Republic of Moldova (AIRRM) has created over ten thousand jobs, making investments of over 230 million euros. On the occasion of the anniversary, this evening, a ceremony took place at the Republican Palace in Chisinau, attended by numerous guests, including businessmen, diplomats, representatives of local and central public authorities on both banks of the Prut.

With a turnover of one billion euros, the members of the Association cover almost the entire investment level in the Republic of Moldova, from production, trade, transport, finance and banks, energy, legal services to environmental protection and healthcare.

According to the officials, their experience comes to provide an example for other companies that want to come from Romania and to expand their activities in the Republic of Moldova.
