A Delegation of the European Commission is coming to Chisinau
A Delegation of the European Commission will come to Chisinau, between July 10-11, for the first round of screening in the framework of the accession negotiations to the EU. This was announced by the deputy prime minister for European integration, Cristina Gherasimov, on the "In Profunzime" show.
"Next week, on July 10, we have the first bilateral screening session. I received the agenda immediately after the Intergovernmental Conference. The first session will last two days, on July 10 and 11. Usually, all the delegations of the candidate countries go to Brussels, we have the great honor to have the European Commission come to Chisinau. It is the first time in history. We tried something new, in such a way that colleagues from the European Commission can get to know us not only through legislation, but also through our way of being, how we manage to organize this screening in the home country", said Cristina Gherasimov.
We will cover the chapter related to public procurement, this will be from the core values cluster, the first chapter we will start with.
As for the term cluster, announced by the authorities for European integration, when asked how real the term cluster is from the list, Gerasimov said: "Everything depends on us. We have proposed a real deadline - 2030, to be prepared internally. It is not only about us being prepared, but also the EU. From our side, we are firmly committed to being ready for accession, for 2030", said the deputy prime minister for European integration.
We remind you that the intergovernmental conference for the start of negotiations between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova took place on June 25, in Luxembourg.
On average, in the coming years, the Republic of Moldova should adjust 2000-2500 acts with European legislation.
