In Chisinau, the competition was held at the Technical University of Moldova. Students say they want to continue their studies in IT. "For me this competition is a way to develop myself and an opportunity to show my capabilities. I want to become a software developer and be able to help the future of the Republic of Moldova", says David Florea, student at "Dante Alighieri" Lyceum in Chisinau.

"This experience means a lot of new emotions for me because it's my first time. I want to stay at home, to work in this field, because I know that this field is one of the best paid", said Olesea Novicova, a student at "Dimitrie Cantemir" Lyceum in Chisinau.

The teams had three hours to solve four problems by identifying suitable algorithms and writing the solution-code in programming languages.

"The purpose of this competition is to bring together all the students who want to study programming. In this competition students aim to demonstrate their skills in algorithms in programming. All these problems are automated, they are subject to automatic verification, so that there is no human factor", said Ernest Bâtca, "Tekwill in every school" mentor.

The "Tekwill in every school" program is currently being implemented in 333 educational institutions in the country.

"There are students studying optional subjects in each school, subjects that have been approved and developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education and implemented within the school program for three years already, which allows students to participate in competitions and compete for a winning place" , said Tatiana Alexeev, project manager.

The competition titled "Tekwill Junior Ambassadors" is in its third edition and involves almost two thousand students and 500 teachers. This is carried out with the financial support of Sweden and the European Union, in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
