Ministry of Defence rejects reports of cruise missiles flying over the territory of the Republic of Moldova
The Ministry of Defence refutes reports that the airspace of the Republic of Moldova was overflown by cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea following this morning's attacks on localities near our country.
"The Ministry of Defence, in cooperation with the responsible structures in the country, is carefully monitoring the situation in the region and the national airspace in order to avoid any risks to the country. Our citizens are invited to inform themselves from the official sources of the Republic of Moldova," the Ministry of Defence statement said.
The ministry's reaction comes after several Telegram channels wrote on Thursday, March 9, that at least three Russian missiles flew over Moldova's airspace in the morning.
