Ministry of Finance: In the first two months of this year, the revenue to the national public budget went up
National public budget revenues increase. According to the Ministry of Finance, in the first two months of this year, 14 billion lei or 17.6% more was collected than in the same period last year.
The Ministry of Finance reports that revenue to the national public budget increased by 2.1 billion lei between January and February. This means that state budget receipts are also higher. The institution's data show that in January-February the state budget revenues amounted to 8.6 billion lei, and compared to the same period last year, they increased by almost 17% or 1.2 billion lei.
In the same period, the social insurance fund collected more than 6.6 billion lei in revenues, the health insurance budget - more than 1 billion lei, and local budgets accumulated almost 4 billion lei.
There was also an increase in cash receipts at the State Tax Service. They amounted to 3.7 billion lei, or more than half a billion lei more than in the same period last year. Meanwhile, the Customs Service collected 5.3 billion lei, an increase of 800 million lei.
All payment commitments for January-February this year have been fully honoured, according to the Ministry of Finance.
