What are the authorities’ actions to attract low-cost airlines to the Republic of Moldova? The details of deputy Radu Marian
High airport taxes are one of the reasons cited by the airlines, which do not want to operate flights in our country, Radu Marian, deputy, president of the Parliamentary Commission for Economy, Budget and Finance, told Radio Moldova. According to him, the Republic of Moldova has one of the highest airport taxes in the region, and the reduction of the tax will attract new low-cost companies, therefore, the price of tickets will also be reduced. Radu Marian said that the airport tax of 9 euros will first be reduced and then canceled on January 1, 2024, and other taxes are to be reduced as well.
