Reactions after the visit of the PSRM delegation to Moscow: CUB considers that such actions can be equated with treason to the homeland
Scandal surrounding the visit of five members of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) to Moscow the other day, the Coalition for Unity and Welfare (CUB) filed a complaint with the Prosecutor General's Office, stating that such actions can be equated with treason. The party's president, Igor Munteanu, has asked socialist MPs to disavow such meetings, and if they are not heard, they will ask the authorities to outlaw the PSRM. In reply, the PSRM spokesman says it will not react to "uninspired attempts by a party that promotes its image through polemics".
